So, I am having a road trip! It's due sometime around June.

I'm going from Launceston (Tas), All the way up the coast road to Cairns again, to pick up all the (ok, probably most - limited space) stuff my boyfriend and I couldn't take on the plane.

Going to be going through Melbourne (of course, since the boat docks there - Spirit of Tasmania, for anyone curious) then either around the coast to Sydney, or cutting through to Sydney via the ACT. (boyfriend wants to go here: [link] )

Of course, it's all subject to money. Specifically, how much we won't have, lol.

So. After Sydney, we're looking at a couple of days rest in Brisbane, since i'm the only one between us who can drive, i'd like to have a break there, and look around. Never been to Brizzy. Plus there is a forumite I wouldn't mind meeting.

Then it's up to Cairns! At least i'm going in winter, so the weather will be great. My Boyfriend & I are wanting to do the Kuranda Skyrail & Train ( [link] ) since it was on the list for us to do before we left, but we ran out of time and money. So here's hoping that we can do it this time!

Then it's a beeline home, after the meet'n'greet of family again. Then it's time to find a place down here! Been looking around for ballpark rent prices, and things are looking good.

I'm off the plane, and have been rather tardy in updating this, it seems.

Tassie is a really pretty place - full of old buildings, and tiny little townships... well, from what i've seen so far, anyway. i'm learning my way around, which is kinda imperitive, considering i'll be going back to TAFE/Tech, whatever you call it, to do my Cert. 4 in Business Administration.

...I almost did Cert 1 in Panel Beating, but the road out to get to that campus, though the same distance timewise, was really snakey and I didn't like it much at all. So! into town every day for me. yay, 2 tanks of fuel. A Week. Hrm. :S

Expect more pictures and photos - i'm being a real tourist at the moment, and just taking pictures of pretty much everything... like the monkeys in the city park. Monkeys! (Not Monkey, though - that'd just be weird.)

I wont be online for a good week or two, starting on Wednesday (3rd Dec.) Just a heads up to y'all.
